The BEF is a community based organization that relies entirely on your involvement to achieve its goals. Volunteer Opportunities
Throughout the year, the BEF organizes a variety of community events that require a lot of helping hands to make them a success. We're extremely fortunate here in Bedford to have such a strong group of supporters who are willing to jump in and lend a hand. No matter what your level of time commitment, there's a place for you in the BEF.
- Helping to plan our annual Fall Gala
- Acting as a community representative to the grant award process
- Flexing your creative muscles to help us communicate with the community
- Developing content for our Web site
- Joining us at any of the community based activities over the course of the year
Service on the Board of Directors
The BEF Board of Directors is a working board consisting entirely of volunteers. Directors are responsible for setting the goals and direction of the organization as well as day to day operations. Directors serve a standard term of 3 years and generally meet monthly to discuss foundation business. We're lucky to have a board made up of people with a wide variety of backgrounds and talents.
